Dom Bosco Sanctuary

Built in homage to the patron saint of Brasilia, St. John Bosco. In the center of the nave, there is a chandelier of 3.5 m in height, consisting of 7,400 pieces of Murano, which symbolizes Jesus, the Light of the world. The windows in 12 shades of blue are by Cláudio Naves and painted by Humbert Van Doorne.

Our Lady of Fatima Church - Igrejinha

Designed by Oscar Niemeyer, it was built in 1958 at the request of D. Sarah Kubitschek, the wife of JK. Its architecture resembles a nun's hat.

Mosque of the Islamic Center in Brazil

Only mosque in Brasilia, it occupies an area of 2,800 m. Built in authentic Arabic architectural style, it has a tower from where, in Islam, the priest calls the faithful to the five daily prayers.

"Terra Pura" Buddhist Temple

Example of traditional Japanese architecture, the temple is a replica of the temple of Fukui in Japan. A statue of Buddha adorns the central altar, that boosts an all-gold interior.

Temple of Good Will

Built in the shape of a seven-sided pyramid, the temple is 21-feet tall. One of the main attractions is the large crystal in the main hall, which weighs 21 pounds and is 40 centimeters tall, positioned at the apex of the pyramid.
